Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital in Ankeny stepped up to squeeze him in as soon as they could the next day. We offered help through our Veterinary Assistance Program, and our Community Outreach coordinator started calling clinics around town to get an appointment for Prince. The dog, named Prince, needed to be checked by a vet for smoke inhalation and looked over to make sure he was OK, but the family had just lost everything – their house, their possessions.
